Artequín exhibition
The Artequin Museum in Viña del Mar invited us to design and implement a permanent interactive exhibition in the museum. Said exhibition centers around the painting "Dynamic Suprematism" by the russian painter from the early XX century, Kazimir Malevich.
The complexity of the piece lays in Malevich's interpretation of movement, represented by the disposition of the forms over the canvas, so, with the intention of enabling the people that visit the museum to make their own artistic interpretation, we implemented an intervention that allows the observer to interact with the forms that make up Malevich's painting.
3 methods of interaction where implemented:
-Gravity: The forms that make up the painting fall to the ground when the observer closes his hand.
-Atraction: The forms follow the observer's hand when it is shaken in front of the painting.
-Move: the observer can move each figure with its hand.
This intervention was set for eight months (since july 2019) in Artequin Museum, Viña del Mar.
